Alexia Marcouse is currently co-founder and Vice President of Dharma Merchant Services. With her co-founder and father Jeff Marcous, she has designed and grown the company to be a recognized leader in sustainable, socially responsible and successful organizational behavior practices. Dharma Merchant Services is the preferred and recommended merchant service provider of Green America, a national association dedicated to fostering a socially just and environmentally sustainable society since 1982, New Resource Bank, a green, community-focused bank based in San Francisco, and TechSoup Global, the largest aggregator of non-profit organizations in the world. Alexia's company is a certified green business, B Corporation and was voted Green Business Leader of the Year by Green America business members in November, 2009.
Megan Southern has been employed by the Northern Jaguar Project since 2007, providing administrative, fundraising, and programmatic support. NJP and its Mexican conservation partner Naturalia have established the 50,000-acre Northern Jaguar Reserve, which encompasses prime jaguar habitat just 125 miles south of the U.S.-Mexico border. Jaguars that roam this area now have a safe-haven sanctuary in the most remarkable, rugged wilderness left in northern Mexico.
