Mailshell Anti-Spam Desktop (formerly SpamCatcher Desktop) is
a desktop-based spam-filtering solution for Windows users. It works
with most e-mail applications, and features full integration with
Outlook 2000 and 2002.
Organizations that would prefer spam interception on the
organization-wide mail server level should consider Mailshell
Anti-Spam SMTP Gateway for Windows or Linux.
Server products are not included as part of the April 20 Giveaway.
Mailshell Anti-Spam Desktop intercepts incoming e-mail messages
before they hit the user's inbox, processes them based on Mailshell's
spam analysis techniques, and assigns a Spam Score (0-100) to each
message. The user can set up Mailshell Anti-Spam to simply delete
e-mails over a certain Spam Score, put spam in its own folder, or
simply mark the spam so individual users can clearly identify and sort
it with their mail clients.
Three versions of Mailshell Anti-Spam are
available for download:
Mailshell Anti-Spam Universal Edition
supports Supports Eudora, Netscape Messenger and most POP e-mail
clients.
Mailshell Anti-Spam Outlook Express
Edition supports Outook Express.
Mailshell Anti-Spam Outlook Express
Edition supports Outlook 2000, Outlook 2002, and Outlook
2003 (English).
Ordering Mailshell Anti-Spam desktop
grants users access to all three versions. You need not select a
version during the ordering process, as you will be prompted to do so
when you go to download the product. Users may download any combination
of Anti-Spam Universal, Anti-Spam Outlook and Anti-Spam Outlook
Express products so long as the total number of downloads matches the
quantity of the donation.

This license is valid for one year, after
which time the software will continue to run, but updates will no
longer be provided.

This donation is available only to U.S. public libraries with 501(c)(3) designation or an FSCS ID.
