NPC Credit Card Processing – Access to Discounted Rates

This offer gives nonprofit organizations and public libraries access to National Processing Company (NPC) hardware and services at special rates lower than standard market values. NPC's offer provides reduced rates for:

• Credit/debit card processing services, with card present or not present, including e-commerce transactions
• Credit/debit card processing equipment, including a virtual terminal for e-commerce use
• Check verification services, for screening checks and check writers

NPC deposits all credit/debit sales and donations into customer organizations' bank accounts nightly. Checks verified by NPC still need to be deposited in the bank by the organization. There are no monthly minimum transaction fees for TechSoup Stock customers. TechSoup Stock customers may have the service suspended and reactivated from month to month. The service fee is waived for months when the service is suspended.

Organizations must use a counter-top or virtual terminal to utilize NPC's card-processing or check verification services. NPC has special pricing for:

• The Hypercom 4205 counter-top terminal offers a complete transaction processing solution in a durable compact terminal. An analog phone line is required.
• The NPC Secure virtual terminal provides Web-based computer payment processing and an Internet payment gateway solution. An organization can connect its Web site to NPC Secure via a simple API and can interface with most popular e-commerce server applications. An organization can use NPC Secure for both card-not-present and swiped retail transaction processing. Swiped transactions can be processed with MagTek readers, which connect to a computer and are available for purchase or rental from NPC.

Hardware purchases include a 12-month warranty, but replacement programming and shipping costs may apply.

Requesting NPC Services: This TechSoup Stock offer facilitates organizations' access to the discounted rates, but organizations pay NPC directly for the discounted hardware and services. Each organization must apply for a merchant services account directly with NPC.
