Description
The Wikispaces Plus Plan offers organizations a hosted wiki that is easy to setup and use. (A wiki is a type of Web site that allows users to add, remove, and edit all content, very quickly and easily.)
Management features include the ability to:
- determine whether an individual must be a member to view and edit the wiki
- invite individuals to join
- change the look and feel
The visual editor uses a toolbar for formatting text, inserting images and files, and creating links within a page. Wiki markup language is also available for those who prefer not to use the editor.
The Plus Plan offers 2 GB storage and allows unlimited users, edits, and messages.
This product is a one-year Plus Plan subscription. An organization that already has a subscription can use this product to renew its subscription for one year.
Note that other plans are available from the Wikispaces Web site, including a plan that has no cost but has fewer features.
Features
- Pages are fully internationalized, so users can contribute content in any language.
- Changes and discussions can be tracked with RSS feeds.
- Users can link and import Blogger and TypePad blog entries. Imported text can be edited just like regular Wikispaces content.
- Wikispam blocking on all spaces keeps spammers away. Private spaces use SSL encryption so that secure data remains secure.
- Because each version of each page on Wikispaces is saved, users can compare any two versions and go back to a previous version.

Restrictions
- Donated product will be distributed under this program to qualifying organizations only, not to individuals.
- This donation is available to nonprofits with 501(c)(3) designation and to public libraries. Public libraries must either have valid 501(c)(3) nonprofit status or be listed in the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) database.
- Each qualifying organization may request up to three products per year within a fiscal year — July 1 to June 30.
- Organizations must represent and warrant that they are willing to provide information to Wikispaces for the purposes of creating a case study and/or testimonial on this product.
- Organizations that advocate, support, or practice discrimination based on age, ethnicity, gender, national origin, disability, race, size, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background are not eligible to participate in this program. Organizations must be willing and able to attest that they do not discriminate on any of these grounds in order to receive donations.
- Wikispaces products may not be transferred or resold.
