Description
Peachtree Premium Accounting for Nonprofits 2010 provides accounting and analysis tools to help nonprofit organizations improve their financial management. It is suitable for organizations with 50 or fewer employees.
Premium Accounting has more than 145 customizable reports. Of special interest to nonprofits are the Donor/Grantor Summary, the Statement of Financial Position, and the Member and Pledges Fees Outstanding reports.
The analysis tool Crystal Reports 2008 enhances report design and information visualization (see system requirements below). Other analysis tools are multiple-program reporting and encumbrance tracking.
Integration with Microsoft Office applications enables such features as creation of fundraising mail merge templates and synchronization of Outlook contacts.
New features in the 2010 version include the ability to store information about employees, such as performance reviews and emergency contacts, and the Customer Management Center, which consolidates all information related to each customer or donor. The software also now allows an unlimited number of contact names for a customer or donor.
Payroll services are available directly from Sage at an additional cost.
This product includes one user license. Premium Accounting 2010 allows up to five simultaneous users to work with the organization's data, but each user must have a separate license.

Features
- More than 75 sample charts of accounts, including the United Way–based chart, allow an organization to select the one that most closely resembles itself as a starting point.
- Access to data can be controlled at the module level and the screen level.
- The Business Status Center presents an integrated view of key measurements and indicators, including account balances, outstanding debts, and what bills are due for payment.
- Navigation centers provide an intuitive way to navigate and get access to key information and tasks.
- Internal Accounting Review looks for questionable transactions and common accounting mistakes such as duplicate transactions and cash receipts that do not debit the correct General Ledger cash account. (The Internal Accounting Review is not intended to uncover all questionable transactions, and Sage is not liable or responsible for any fines or penalties that may result from errors in users' accounting records.)
