About TechSoup Stock's donation and discount programs
TechSoup Stock is a nonprofit program that distributes donated and deeply discounted software and technology products to eligible U.S. and Canadian public libraries and nonprofit organizations. You can save 80 – 96% on brand-new software donated by top companies. All products are available either for a small administrative fee if donated, or at prices that are deeply discounted.
Each branch of a library system must register with TechSoup Stock individually to request software products, not just the main branch.
Programs available for all public libraries in the U.S. and Canada
Microsoft and I CAN Software Donation Programs: Microsoft has partnered with TechSoup Stock to donate a wide variety of software products to public libraries in the U.S. and Canada. Hundreds of professional and enterprise Microsoft products are available. Microsoft donations for public libraries are intended only for public access computers. Additional programs only available for U.S. 501(c)(3) public libraries
Besides the programs listed above, if your library has a 501(c)(3) nonprofit designation, you may be eligible to request products from these additional TechSoup Stock donation and discount programs:
Note that fewer than 20% of public libraries in the U.S. have 501(c)(3) nonprofit status, and most of these are concentrated on the East Coast.

Each of TechSoup Stock's donated and discounted product programs has specific eligibility guidelines. We strongly encourage you to visit the Nonprofit Eligibility Requirements and Donor Partner Restrictions page for each program's requirements before placing a donation request.
Public libraries that are eligible for TechSoup Stock's services:
U.S. public libraries listed in the U.S. National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) database – or that have 501(c)(3) nonprofit status (Note that most public libraries in the U.S. do not have 501(c)(3) nonprofit status.)
Canadian public libraries whose names appear on a list collected for us by the Public Library Services Branch, Ministry of Education in British Columbia.
