On HP's behalf, TechSoup Stock will send your organization the cash stipend portion of the grant award -- a check for $1000 -- in the first week of June (the timing is coordinated with the arrival of your wireless hardware).
As you know, HP strongly encourages that the stipend be used to support the integration of the new HP technology into your organization such as software purchases, local tech support, additional training, etc. Many organizations may wish to order software or hardware products for use with the HP Wireless Bundle in advance of receiving the cash stipend. To make this easier for you, we have a special payment option for HP grant recipients for your convenience.
If you place a request for donated or discounted technology products from TechSoup Stock (from companies such as Adobe, Microsoft, Intuit, and Symantec) anytime by May 31, 2006, we will process your order and send you a check for your remaining balance. For example, if you would like to order $800 of software for use on your new computers by May 31, we will process your product order and send you a check for the remaining balance of $200. Please note that we can only allow advance credit for only one order.
Instructions for the Special Payment Option
Add all of the products you would like to request to your shopping cart, and then check out.
In the payment part of the check out process, be sure to choose the "mail a check" option. Do not select the "Online credit card" option during check out if you would like to take advantage of this special payment option.
If your order amount is under $1000, we will send you the remaining balance in the first week in June.
If your order amount exceeds $1000, then send us a check for the amount over $1000. Please send the check TechSoup Stock, 435 Brannan St, Suite 100, CA 94107.
