Occasionally, TechSoup Stock updates the organization types used for organization registration so that the types better reflect and support the giving priorities of our product donors and the major activities of various charitable and nonprofit organizations. These changes might affect certain organizations' eligibility to receive Microsoft donations.
We encourage you to review the type and subtype under which your organization is registered to make sure you have the subtype that most closely matches your organization's activities. See Organization Types and Subtypes for a list of available selections.
To view and change your organization type and subtype:
Log in to My TechSoup if you have not already done so.
Click Edit Organization Profile in the Manage My Account section at the top of the left navigation bar to display a list of the organizations for which you are an authorized agent.
Click the name of the organization whose information you want to display.
Scroll to the Organization Type and Subtype fields where your current type and subtype are displayed.
Make changes as appropriate and click Save.
Resubmit your qualification documentation as follows:
Download a new qualification form (Adobe Acrobat Reader required). Complete the entire form and send it in with the supporting documentation that explains each change you made. Details about exactly which documents to send, along with our fax number and mailing address, are on the form.
We're doing everything we can to make the requalification phase short. In the meantime, you can continue requesting donations from our other programs.
To check whether requalification is complete:
Log in to My TechSoup if you have not already done so.
Click Edit Organization Profile in the Manage My Account section at the top of the left navigation bar to display a list of the organizations for which you are an authorized agent.
Click the name of the organization whose information you want to display.
Scroll to the Organization Type and Subtype fields where your current type and subtype are displayed.
Scroll to the TechSoup Stock Organization Qualification Status section.
If the status is "Qualified," you can now submit Microsoft donation requests.
If the status is "Requalification Pending," check back shortly.
