SlideRocket is a web-based service for creating, managing, and sharing online multimedia slideshow presentations. SlideRocket's drag-and-drop authoring tools and customizable presentation templates allow users to create presentations from scratch within any web browser. Users can also import and modify an existing PowerPoint slide deck or Google Docs presentation.

This donation consists of a one-year user subscription for a SlideRocket Pro account. The account includes 1 GB of storage per user, shared between all users, and supports importing files up to 200 MB in size. See below for details about additional user subscriptions.

• Embed slideshows you create into your organization's website or share them online
• Gauge the effectiveness of a presentation by examining viewer data

Major Capabilities

• Create multimedia presentations: You can use SlideRocket's authoring tools to add audio, video, shapes, charts, tables, forms, polls, and other visuals and interactive elements to slides.
• Add web content to presentations: You can embed videos from YouTube, images from Flickr, or live polls from Poll Everywhere directly into a presentation. You can also add live data from Google Docs spreadsheets or from Twitter search feeds and stock quotes that are updated in real time during a presentation.
• Access presentations anywhere: Presentations and related assets are stored online on SlideRocket's secure servers. They can be accessed and modified from any Internet-connected device by any user on the same SlideRocket account.
• Share presentations online: You can share presentations online by publishing them to a public or password-protected URL, embedding them in an existing website or blog, or inviting others to view them directly.
• Deliver presentations offline: You can export slideshows as PDF files, PowerPoint files, or standalone executable files that can be played back on either a PC or a Mac without additional software. Viewers can also download the SlideRocket Desktop Presenter, a free application that can automatically download presentations from a SlideRocket account so that they can be viewed offline.
• View presentation statistics: SlideRocket keeps track of viewer data and provides analytics tools that allow users to measure their presentation's effectiveness.

Additional User Subscriptions

You can request up to two donations of this product and then add more user subscriptions by requesting the SlideRocket Pro 1-Year Subscription, Additional User, product. All user subscriptions you request must be used with the same SlideRocket Pro account, and that account must be set up through a donation of this product.

Previewing SlideRocket

You can preview SlideRocket by taking an interactive tour or watching a video preview on the SlideRocket website.

If you request this donation through TechSoup, you will be required to create a new SlideRocket account. For this reason, SlideRocket asks that you not sign up for the free Lite version or free trial on their site.

Continuing Services After One Year

At the end of the year of this user subscription, you can renew it by requesting another user subscription through TechSoup or else simply allow it to expire.

Obtaining This Product

You will need to take further action to obtain this product after your donation request has been approved. TechSoup will send instructions to your organization email address.

• Presentations can be created and viewed on any computer or device with a web browser that supports Adobe Flash 10.1 or later, including:
• Internet Explorer 6.0 or later
• Firefox 3.0 or later
• Chrome 2.0 or later
• Safari 4.0 or later
• Opera 9.5 or later
• AOL 9.0 or later
• AOL Desktop for Mac 1.0 or later
• Presentations can also be viewed, but not created, on devices that support HTML5, such as the iPad or iPhone (certain presentation features are unavailable for HTML5 playback).

• Product will be distributed under this program to qualifying organizations only, not to individuals.
• Up to two initial user subscriptions and an unlimited number of additional user subscriptions may be requested within a fiscal year (July 1 to June 30). The user subscription may be renewed through TechSoup each year.
• Only organizations with annual operating budgets of $10 million or less are eligible to receive this product.
• This product is available to nonprofits with 501(c)(3) designation and to public libraries. Public libraries must either have valid 501(c)(3) nonprofit status or be listed in the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) database.
• This product will not be made available to advocacy groups or organizations that support political parties or candidates.
• This product is not available to current or former SlideRocket subscribers unless the subscription was obtained through TechSoup.
• Recipient organizations must agree to SlideRocket's terms of service.
• Recipient organizations must be willing and able to provide information to SlideRocket for the purposes of creating a case study or testimonial on this program.
• Organizations that advocate, support, or practice discrimination based on age, ethnicity, gender, national origin, disability, race, size, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background are not eligible to participate in this program. Organizations must be willing and able to attest that they do not discriminate on any of these grounds in order to receive products.
• SlideRocket products may not be transferred or resold.
