Description

Sage 50 Nonprofit Accounting 2013 (formerly Sage Peachtree) provides accounting and analysis tools to help nonprofit organizations improve their financial management. It is suitable for organizations with 50 or fewer employees.

  • Audit trail: Logs when an individual enters, edits, or deletes data.
  • Internal Accounting Review: Looks for questionable transactions and common accounting mistakes such as duplicate transactions and cash receipts that do not debit the correct General Ledger cash account (This tool is not intended to uncover all questionable transactions. Sage is not liable or responsible for any fines or penalties that may result from errors in users' accounting records.)

Payroll services are not included with this product but are available from Sage for an additional fee.

Integration with Other Software

Sage 50 Nonprofit Accounting 2013 includes the analysis tool Crystal Reports 2008, which enhances report design and information visualization (see system requirements below). It also integrates with Microsoft Office applications to enable such features as creation of mail merge templates for fundraising letters or receipts and synchronization with Outlook contacts.

Includes One User License

This product includes one user license. Over a network, up to five users can work with the organization's data at the same time. Each user must have both a user license and a separate installation of Sage 50 Nonprofit Accounting 2013.

Rules, Eligibility and Restrictions

  • Donated product will be distributed under this program to qualifying organizations only, not to individuals.
  • One donation each of Sage ACT!, Sage 50 Nonprofit Accounting, and Sage Payment Solutions may be requested within a fiscal year (July 1 to June 30).
  • Only organizations with annual operating budgets of $500,000 or less are eligible to receive a donation of Sage ACT! or Sage 50 Nonprofit Accounting. There is no budget restriction for Sage Payment Solutions.
  • This donation is available to nonprofits with 501(c)(3) designation and non-501(c)(3) public libraries. Public libraries must either have valid 501(c)(3) nonprofit status or be listed in the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) database.
  • Recipient organizations must be willing and able to provide information to Sage for the purposes of creating a case study or testimonial on this program.
  • Organizations that advocate, support, or practice discrimination based on age, ethnicity, gender, national origin, disability, race, size, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background are not eligible to participate in this program. Organizations must be willing and able to attest that they do not discriminate on any of these grounds in order to receive donations.
  • Sage products may not be transferred or resold.
