Quicken Premier 2010 offers software tools for organizing and managing finances.Users can pay bills online, download bank transactions, balance their checkbooks, print checks, create budgets, compare spending habits against budget priorities, and plan for long-term goals such as college or retirement. It is aimed at users who need personal financial software with the ability to track savings, investments, and tax deductions.

Quicken can connect to over 12,000 bank, credit card, and investment sites (including PayPal), making it possible to download transactions and balances and then update accounts with the most recent information about the user's cash flow. Quicken can also categorize downloaded transactions and alert users to upcoming payment due dates.

Quicken integrates with Intuit's TurboTax application to assist users in preparing their tax returns.

With Quicken Premier, all tax documents can be put in one place by attaching receipts and other tax information to Quicken files. Schedule A, B, and D tax reports help organizations stay informed about tax situations throughout the year. Quicken Premier also identifies hidden tax deductions.

Morningstar ratings and risk-reward analysis help users make sound investing decisions.

• This donation is available only to nonprofits with 501(c)(3) designation and to public libraries. Public libraries must either have valid 501(c)(3) nonprofit status or be listed in the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) database.
• Donations are available only to organizations that provide programs in personal financial literacy, small business development, or workforce training.
• Eligible organizations may request as many multi-disc bundles as they need. They may redistribute one disc to each student.
• Religious organizations without a secular community designation are not eligible to receive software through this program. A secular designation is defined as an organization separate from the church or religious organization that provides services to people regardless of their religious beliefs and does not propagate a belief in a specific faith.
• Participating organizations must use Intuit products for their own charitable purposes and not sell, trade, barter, or auction any of the goods donated. Donated products cannot be used as door prizes, party favors, sold at auctions or in thrift stores, nor otherwise distributed outside the organization's charitable purpose to the general public.
• Organizations that advocate, support, or practice discrimination based on age, ethnicity, gender, national origin, disability, race, size, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background are not eligible to participate in this program.
