Description

This product consists of a one-month subscription to all video courses on the Atomic Training website. The site offers some 550 courses on more than 150 products from Microsoft, Adobe, Apple, Google, and more. Subscribers can view the videos from any web-connected computer.

This subscription licenses one user to access the training videos for a period of one month. You must activate the subscription within three months after your donation request has been approved.

Benefits for Organizations

You can use this training to help your organization maximize the value of its software products. New users can learn the basics of applications, and experienced users can increase their proficiency. The training is available to both your staff and your constituents.

Major Capabilities
  • Easy reference: Courses are broken into tutorials no more than about three minutes long, so you can get quick how-to information.
  • Keyword searches: You can enter keywords to find tutorials that will answer your questions.
  • Project-based courses: Some courses are project-based and let you download resources that supplement the video presentation.
  • Workshop-based courses: Some courses are workshops in which you can learn about broad topics like blogging and searching the web.

Nonsubscribers can preview some of the video tutorials in Atomic Training's list of courses. Tutorials that can be previewed are shown in bold type in the course's table of contents.

In addition, Atomic Training offers a 10-day free trial. Participants in this trial may request this product to add a month of access.

License Details

Current Atomic Training subscribers may not add time to their subscriptions with this donation.

An organization may not request this donation multiple times for the same user.

Support

Support on the Atomic Training site includes an FAQ, an email form, a getting started guide, and a video guide to the site. You can submit feedback on courses through their Contact Us page.

Rules, Eligibility and Restrictions

  • Donated product will be distributed under this program to qualifying organizations only, not to individuals.
  • One hundred licenses may be requested within a fiscal year (July 1 to June 30).
  • This donation is available to organizations with operating budgets of any size.
  • This donation is available to nonprofits with 501(c)(3) designation and to public libraries. Public libraries must either have valid 501(c)(3) nonprofit status or be listed in the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) database.
  • This donation will not be made available to schools or organizations that provide school-related activities.
  • Organizations that advocate, support, or practice discrimination based on age, ethnicity, gender, national origin, disability, race, size, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background are not eligible to participate in this program. Organizations must be willing and able to attest that they do not discriminate on any of these grounds in order to receive donations.
  • Atomic Training products may not be transferred or resold. However, nonprofits whose mission includes workforce development, job skills training, worker retraining, youth empowerment, and the like may assign registration codes to the intended beneficiaries of their programs.
