This offer gives nonprofits and public libraries access to the npVault managed backup service at special rates lower than npCloud's published rates. This TechSoup offer facilitates organizations' access to the discounted rates, but organizations pay npCloud directly for discounted service.

The discounted pricing for this service is $24 per month and includes 30 GB of cloud storage for backing up a single server. No contract is necessary, though npCloud requires 30 days' notice to cancel service.

This offer also includes a one-hour consultation with npCloud to determine backup needs.

Benefits for Organizations

• You can use npVault to protect your organization's servers against disaster by backing up your critical data offsite in cloud storage.
• You don't need advanced IT knowledge to use npVault. npCloud work with you to determine which files need to be backed up and configure, manage, and monitor your backups for you.
• You can avoid additional online storage fees by backing up noncritical data locally to a compatible network attached storage (NAS) device. npCloud can manage both your onsite and offsite backups.

Supported Data Types

You can use npVault to back up the following types of data:

• Local files
• Hyper-V Virtual Hard Disks
• Microsoft SQL Server databases
• Exchange Server Information Stores or individual mailboxes
• Windows System State backups

Additional Services Available

Other services are available for a fee.

• Additional cloud storage: Each additional gigabyte over the included 30 GB costs $1 per gigabyte per month.
• Local backup device: npCloud can recommend supported NAS devices, which are available from various manufacturers starting at $400.
• Additional backup agents: A backup agent must be installed on each server that needs its data backed up. One backup agent is included with npVault; each additional agent costs an extra $5 per month.

Obtaining This Product

Expect two emails. When your donation request has been approved, TechSoup will send a message to your organization email address with preliminary information about obtaining this product. Shortly after, the donor partner will send an email with information needed to complete the installation or activation.

• Donations will be distributed under this program to qualifying organizations only, not to individuals.
• Organizations may request as many npCloud donations as they need.
• This donation is available to organizations with operating budgets of any size.
• This donation is available to nonprofits with 501(c)(3) designation.
• The following types of organizations are ineligible for npCloud donations:
• Governmental organizations or agencies.
• Educational institutions, including K-12 schools, colleges, universities, trade schools, public libraries, and public museums.
• Healthcare organizations and networks, including hospitals, specialty networks, ambulatory healthcare services, home healthcare and assisted living healthcare organizations, research organizations, and laboratories. Exceptions: Community health clinics, medical research groups, behavioral healthcare nonprofits, women's health centers, and blood banks are eligible to request this donation.
• Political, labor, and fraternal organizations; commerce and trade associations without charitable aims or activities; sponsorships of events, tables, exhibitions, or performances; fundraising events such as luncheons, dinners, walks, runs, or sports tournaments.
• Organizations that engage in discrimination in hiring, compensation, access to training, promotion, termination, and/or retirement based on race, color, sex, national origin, religion, age, disability, gender identity or expression, marital status, pregnancy, sexual orientation, political affiliation, union membership, or veteran status, other than as allowed by law, are not eligible to participate in this program. Organizations must be willing and able to attest that they do not discriminate on any of these grounds in order to receive donations.
• npCloud products may not be transferred or resold.
