Expect two emails. When TechSoup approves your donation request, we will send a message to your organization email address with preliminary information about obtaining this product. Shortly after, the donor partner will send an email with information needed to complete the installation or activation.

Assessment Details

This offer provides a telephone interview to assess the organization's current IT environment. This interview is followed by a detailed implementation proposal including a pricing assessment of monthly rates for migrating to Managed IT Support. Your organization is under no obligation to Tech Impact to subscribe to Managed IT Support once the consultation is complete.

Service Contract Required

Migration to Managed IT Support requires signing a one-year service contract.

Typical Costs

If your organization decides to subscribe to Managed IT Support through this offer, Tech Impact will waive up to $400 of the initial "onboarding" fee covering upfront costs. Typical onboarding fees are $400 or less.

Monthly service fees depend on your organizational needs. Typical monthly service fees start at $38 per desktop per month and $110 per server per month.

Rules, Eligibility and Restrictions

  • Quantity:
    • Organizations may request as many npVault Managed Backup Service, Office 365 Assessment, Office 365 Workshop, SharePoint Workshop, Hosted VoIP Phone Service, Managed IT Support Assessment, Power BI Training and Support, and Tableau Training and Support donations as they need.
    • Organizations may request only one Technology Adviser, Impact CRM Template and Assessment, and Data and Database Assessment donation ever.
  • Budget:
    • Tableau Training and Support donations are available to organizations with annual operating budgets of $5 million or less.
    • All other donations are available to organizations with operating budgets of any size.
  • Nonprofits and libraries only:
    • npVault Managed Backup Service, Office 365 Workshop, SharePoint Workshop, Hosted VoIP Phone Service, Technology Adviser, Managed IT Support Assessment, Data and Database Assessment, and Tableau Training and Support donations are available only to qualifying nonprofits with 501(c)(3) designation and to public libraries. Public libraries must either have valid 501(c)(3) nonprofit status or be listed in the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) database.
    • Office 365 Assessment and Impact CRM Template and Assessment donations are available only to nonprofits with 501(c)(3) designation.
  • Organization types:
    • The following types of organizations are ineligible for Office 365 Assessment, Power BI Training and Support, and Impact CRM Template and Assessment donations.
      • Governmental organizations or agencies.
      • Educational institutions, including K-12 schools, colleges, universities, trade schools, public libraries, and public museums.
      • Healthcare organizations and networks, including hospitals, specialty networks, ambulatory healthcare services, home healthcare and assisted living healthcare organizations, research organizations, and laboratories.
      • Political, labor, and fraternal organizations; commerce and trade associations without charitable aims or activities; sponsorships of events, tables, exhibitions, or performances; fundraising events such as luncheons, dinners, walks, runs, or sports tournaments.
      • Nonpublic libraries, including private libraries, school libraries, specialty libraries, armed forces libraries, and libraries in government agencies.
    • The following types of organizations are ineligible for Tableau Training and Support donations.
      • Schools and colleges
      • Mutual organizations
      • Foundations
      • Professional athletic leagues
      • Government instrumentalities or agencies
      • Health services and related activities
      • Business and professional organizations
      • Employee or member benefit organizations
      • Section 501(c)(1) organizations with 50 percent deductibility
      • Religious organizations without a secular community designation. A secular designation is defined as an organization separate from the church or religious organization that provides services to people regardless of their religious beliefs and does not propagate a belief in a specific faith.
  • Territories: Organizations in U.S. territories may not request Hosted VoIP Phone Service and Managed IT Support Assessment donations.
  • Terms of service: Organizations that request Tech Impact products must agree to any applicable terms of service.
  • Anti-discrimination policy: Organizations that advocate, support, or practice discrimination based on age, ethnicity, gender, national origin, disability, race, size, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background are not eligible to participate in this program. Organizations must be willing and able to attest that they do not discriminate on any of these grounds in order to receive products in this program.
  • Case study: Recipient organizations must be willing and able to provide information to Tech Impact for the purposes of creating a case study or testimonial on this program.
  • Product distribution:
    • Products will be distributed under this program to qualifying organizations only, not to individuals.
    • Recipient organizations may not transfer or resell Tech Impact products.
