Description

This refurbished printer uses black toner (part #Q5942A or #Q5942X, not included) and can print manually. It supports automatic printing on both sides of a sheet of paper, can be used on a network, and is well-suited for larger workgroups.

This printer is covered by a 90-day warranty from the refurbisher.

Obtaining This Product

When your donation request has been approved, TechSoup will send a message to your organization email address. Please read this message: it contains important information.

Within 10 business days after your donation request has been approved, our refurbisher partner will ship your equipment via ground. After that, it may take up to five days (seven days for Alaska or Hawaii) to receive your equipment.

System Requirements

Rules, Eligibility and Restrictions

  • Donated product will be distributed only to qualifying organizations, not individuals.
  • This donation is available to U.S. nonprofits with 501(c)(3) designation and to U.S. public libraries. Public libraries must either have valid 501(c)(3) nonprofit status or be listed in the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) database.
  • This donation is not available to organizations in U.S. territories.
  • Each eligible 501(c)(3) organization or public library may request any number of products within a fiscal year — July 1 to June 30. However, each request may include no more than 10 of any individual product requested.
  • To be eligible to receive computers, an organization must have a nonreligious purpose or be a religious organization with a secular community designation.
  • Organizations that advocate, support, or practice discrimination based on age, ethnicity, gender, national origin, disability, race, size, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background are not eligible to participate in this program. Organizations must be willing and able to attest that they do not discriminate on any of these grounds in order to receive donations.
  • TechSoup's refurbisher partner will supply computer recipients with an electronic copy of the Microsoft Registered Refurbisher Program's Eligible Recipient Agreement. Each recipient organization must accept this agreement when first starting each computer.
  • Each organization must agree to participate in customer surveys and a case study, if asked.
  • Each organization must agree to provide information on how the products will be used and what operational and mission impact the products are expected to provide.
  • Each organization must agree to provide specific feedback on the program's overall process, any problems or concerns, and possible improvements.
