Adobe Flash Professional CS6 is a multimedia authoring environment for creating animations, video, interactive applications, and other rich media content for the web, mobile devices, or the desktop.

Major Capabilities

• Animation tools: The toolbar allows you to define and control individual animation attributes, object animation paths, and object motions. Flash Professional also includes ready-to-use preset animations and allows you to preserve and share your own preset animations.
• ActionScript editor: The built-in plain-text editor features custom class code hinting, code completion, and can reference custom or external code libraries.
• Deployment: Flash content can be delivered via Flash Player as embedded content, streaming content, or progressive download. Flash content can also be delivered as a cross-platform desktop application or mobile device app through built-in Adobe Integrated Runtime (AIR) publishing tools.
• HTML5 support: The CreateJS extension (free, not included) creates interactive HTML5 content by building on core animation and drawing capabilities. Flash can export the content as JavaScript for use on the CreateJS framework.

Viewing Flash Media

Web presentation requires a Flash Player–enabled browser. Mobile device presentation requires a Flash Lite–enabled device. Standalone applications with Flash content are published with a built-in Flash Player. AIR desktop applications require Adobe AIR.

Licensing

This product license allows a single user to install and use the software.

If you're the licensed user, you may also use the software on a secondary computer. The secondary computer may be a home computer or portable computer and must be of the same platform. You may not run the software simultaneously on both the primary and secondary computers.

When your donation request has been approved, TechSoup will send a message to your organization email address with instructions for obtaining and activating this product.

• Donated products will be distributed under this program to qualifying organizations only, not to individuals.
• Eligible organizations may request up to a total of four individual applications or one suite application per fiscal year (July 1 to June 30).
• Only organizations with annual operating budgets of $10 million or less are eligible to receive this donation.
• This donation is available to nonprofits with 501(c)(3) designation and to public libraries. Public libraries must either have valid 501(c)(3) nonprofit status or be listed in the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) database.
• Organizations in U.S. territories may receive products through download, but not physically on a DVD-ROM.
• Organizations that require physical media for a suite application may also request one media-only suite product at the same time or within six months of requesting the ESD product. Media-only suite products do not include licenses and cannot be requested by organizations who have not requested the corresponding ESD product.
• Religious organizations without a secular community designation are not eligible to participate in this program. A secular designation is defined as an organization separate from the church or religious organization that provides services to people regardless of their religious beliefs and does not propagate a belief in a specific faith.
• Donated products will not be made available to fraternities or sororities, Boy Scouts of America, computer refurbishing programs, legislative and political (except voter education) organizations, or advocacy groups.
• Recipient organizations must be willing and able to provide information to Adobe for the purposes of creating a case study or testimonial on this program.
• Organizations that advocate, support, or practice discrimination based on age, ethnicity, gender, national origin, disability, race, size, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background are not eligible to participate in this program. Organizations must be willing and able to attest that they do not discriminate on any of these grounds in order to receive donations.
• Adobe products may not be transferred or resold.
• Adobe products may not be used for raffles, door prizes, or any other fundraising activities or individual awards.
