CDI covers this tablet with a one-year warranty, which includes troubleshooting.

It covers major defects in the device and its components and includes technical support. You can purchase a three-year warranty from CDI directly by calling (888) 314-4471.

CDI will ship your equipment via ground within 10 business days after TechSoup approves your request. Within 24 hours of shipping, CDI will send a second email with tracking information. After that, it may take up to five days (seven days for Alaska or Hawaii) to receive your equipment.

Rules, Eligibility and Restrictions

  • Quantity:
    • Organizations may request an unlimited number of products.
    • Organizations may request no more than 10 of any individual product in each request.
    • Organizations that need more than 10 of any individual product in a request must contact TechSoup customer service. Inventory is subject to availability.
  • Budget: Organizations with annual operating budgets of any size are eligible for products in this program.
  • Nonprofits and public libraries only: Products in this program are available only to qualifying nonprofits with 501(c)(3) designation and to public libraries. Public libraries must either have valid 501(c)(3) nonprofit status or be listed in the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) database.
  • Organization types:
    • All organization types are eligible for products in this program without Microsoft Office installed.
    • The following organization types are not eligible to request products in this program with Microsoft Office installed.
      • Governmental organizations or agencies
      • Educational institutions, including K-12 schools, colleges, universities, and trade schools
      • Healthcare organizations and networks, including hospitals, specialty networks, ambulatory healthcare services, home healthcare and assisted living healthcare organizations, health research organizations, and laboratories
      • Political, labor, and fraternal organizations; commerce and trade associations without charitable aims or activities that benefit nonmembers; sponsorships of events, tables, exhibitions, or performances; fundraising events such as luncheons, dinners, walks, runs, or sports tournaments
      • Refurbishers that will install the donated software on refurbished computers and distribute or donate them to nonprofits or schools (these organizations may be eligible for the Registered Refurbisher Program)
      • Nonpublic libraries, including private libraries, school libraries, specialty libraries, armed forces libraries, and libraries in government agencies.
  • Territories: Organizations in U.S. territories may not request products in this program.
  • Terms of service: Organizations that request Refurbished Computer Initiative products must agree to any applicable terms of service.
  • Microsoft agreement: Organizations that receive products from this program with Microsoft products installed must accept the Microsoft Registered Refurbisher Program's Eligible Recipient Agreement when first starting each computer.
  • Anti-discrimination policy: Organizations that advocate, support, or practice discrimination based on age, ethnicity, gender, national origin, disability, race, size, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background are not eligible to participate in this program. Organizations must be willing and able to attest that they do not discriminate on any of these grounds in order to receive products in this program.
  • Case study: Recipient organizations must be willing and able to provide information to TechSoup's refurbisher partners for the purposes of creating a case study or testimonial on this program.
  • Product distribution:
    • Products will be distributed under this program to qualifying organizations only, not to individuals.
    • Recipient organizations may not transfer or resell Refurbished Computer Initiative products.
