Connect2give is a mobile marketing channel that enables organizations to develop and engage with their communities and collect mobile donations via mobile devices. The Suite Plan includes services for mobile web donations, text donations billed to a credit card, and mobile alerts.

This offer provides a one-year subscription to Connect2give's Suite plan for $888, a 50 percent discount. It includes:

  • Unlimited credit card donations
  • One mobile donation keyword for use with the 2pledge service
  • One keyword for use with the 2alert service
  • A mobile website with a custom color scheme and logo
  • 3,000 outgoing mobile messages each month
  • A credit card reader for mobile devices for collecting donations in person
  • Access to Connect2give's merchant account

Subscription Details

When you request this product, you will make two payments:

  • TechSoup admin fee: This is a one-time fee of $58, paid to TechSoup.
  • Subscription fee: This is the 50 percent discounted annual rate of $888, paid to Connect2give.

  • Create a responsive mobile website for collecting donations and sharing information about your organization

Three Services Included in This Plan

  • 2alert: Send instant alerts to drive followers to events, promote advocacy, and notify members about emergencies.
  • 2pledge: Collect large donations from established donors via credit card, schedule recurring donations, and gather contact information from donors.
  • 2web: Add mobile giving capabilities and social media campaigns via a template-based mobile website that works on any web-enabled smartphone. Mobile websites can include multimedia content, sign-ups for 2alert messaging, social media links, an events calendar, and the ability to donate by credit card.

Connect2give Fees and Upgrade Details

Connect2give charges a small fee per donation. The amount of this fee depends on which service the donor uses to make the donation. It also depends on whether you use your own merchant account or the one provided by Connect2give as part of this offer.

Connect2give offers live training and technical support via email, phone, and the web.

Choose Carefully

The administrative fee for this product is not refundable, and the product cannot be exchanged. Connect2give will allow you to upgrade or downgrade if needed.

Obtaining This Product

Expect two emails. When your request has been approved, TechSoup will send a message to your organization email address with preliminary information about obtaining this product. Shortly after, Connect2give will contact your organization with information needed to complete the account activation.

  • For the credit card reader: a smartphone, laptop, or other mobile device with a headphone jack and web access

Rules, Eligibility and Restrictions

  • Quantity: Organizations may request one product within the lifetime of the organization.
  • Budget:
    • Organizations with annual operating budgets of $100,000 or more are eligible for the Suite product.
    • Organizations with annual operating budgets of $500,000 or more are eligible for the Complete product.
  • Nonprofits and libraries only:
    • The Suite product in this program is available only to qualifying nonprofits with 501(c)(3) designation and to public libraries. Public libraries must either have valid 501(c)(3) nonprofit status or be listed in the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) database.
    • The Complete product in this program is available only to qualifying nonprofits with 501(c)(3) designation that are approved by the Mobile Giving Foundation.
  • Organization types:
    • All organization types are eligible for the Suite product.
    • Non-501(c)(3) libraries are not eligible for the Complete product.
  • Existing customers: Organizations that have a Connect2give subscription are not eligible for products in this program.
  • Terms of service: Organizations that request Connect2give products must agree to any applicable terms of service.
  • Anti-discrimination policy: Organizations that advocate, support, or practice discrimination based on age, ethnicity, gender, national origin, disability, race, size, religion, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background are not eligible to participate in this program. Organizations must be willing and able to attest that they do not discriminate on any of these grounds in order to receive products in this program.
  • Case study: Recipient organizations must be willing and able to provide information to Connect2give for the purposes of creating a case study or testimonial on this program.
  • Product distribution:
    • Products will be distributed under this program to qualifying organizations only, not to individuals.
    • Recipient organizations may not transfer or resell Connect2give products.
