If you are a grantee of the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation who plans to re-grant Mott funds, this page is a starting place for information about the USA PATRIOT Act, and the training and technical assistance available to you through the Mott Foundation and TechSoup Global. All materials and resources will be archived here for the life of the project.

About the Project

USA PATRIOT ACT and OFAC-SDN compliance list-checking applications for Mott grantees who re-grant Mott funds:

PatriotAGENT

This easy-to-use Web application accepts single entry or batch searches, and has user-friendly reports which are archived. It is priced in the mid-range and is available with annual contracts which include instructor-led training.

ISTwatch Online

This online application is competitively priced and has a “pay-as-you-go” pricing structure. Good for checking fewer than 500 names, it has a less polished user interface and reports. Free demo available.

WatchDog Pro

Designed for large batches, WatchDog Pro has an intuitive interface and navigation. Search history and reports are retained. This application is very savvy but has a higher price tag and is geared towards enterprise-level and large searches of data

Bridger Insight Online (BIO) and Bridger Insight XG (BIXG)

Description, training materials and exercises are available through this application. If you already have a subscription to BIO or BIXG, you may continue to use those applications to check the OFAC-SDN list. Renewals of BIO subscriptions will continue until 2010, at which time you will be required to upgrade to BIXG or choose a new application.
