Skype is a popular program used around the world that lets users make voice calls using a headset and a broadband internet connection. Basic Skype-to-Skype calls and instant messaging are free, but calling to and receiving from landlines require a fee, depending on the type of service subscribed. Not designed to replace your phone entirely, Skype is a convenient supplementary service for your office communications.

- Easy to install. Used a Prologic web cam with built-in mic. Sound was fine, video decent.
- Cons:
- Video can break up if DSL speed is less than 380kbps. Changing to a smaller resolution can fix the problem.
For what it is I would recommend it. Installing the regular skype program requires you to install 2 junk programs, so I installed the business edition. Ran on Vista Home Premium Easy to use.

Look at Google IM and new video instead of Skype
