The Peninsula Community Foundation (PCF) has provided funding to develop tools and resources to help nonprofits perform security audits on their desktop machines. You can expect to see those tools available on this site later this year. In addition, PCF is funding projects to match 40 organizations in San Mateo and Santa Clara county with consultants and volunteer techies to audit the nonprofits' desktops.
The San Francisco Foundation provides funding for workshops on HSC guidelines as well as small planning and implementation projects.
