Donation Request Status Glossary

Request Status

Indicates the overall status of your donation request as a combination of qualification status, payment status, and shipping status.

Pending Qualification:
Your organization's tax exempt status has not yet been verified. You may submit the proper documentation via fax or mail at any time. Please use our qualification checklist for assistance. Certain product donation programs have additional eligibility criteria. Please check our FAQ or contact Client Services if you have sent us your documentation previously or have questions about your status.
Pending Payment:
Full payment of TechSoup administrative fees has not yet been received. Please fax your credit card information or mail your check as soon as possible if you have not yet done so.
Pending Qualification and Payment:
Your organization's tax exempt status has not yet been verified, and full payment of TechSoup administrative fees has not yet been received. You may submit the proper documentation via fax or mail at any time. Please use our qualification checklist for assistance. Please check our FAQ or contact Client Services if you have sent us your documentation previously or have questions about your status. Please fax your credit card information or mail your check as soon as possible if you have not yet done so.
Fully Shipped:
Distribution of all products in your donation request is either complete or is currently underway. See our FAQ for more information.
In Process:
Your organization has been qualified to participate in the TechSoup donation program.Your payment has been processed, but products have not yet been distributed. Please be aware that certain product donation programs have additional eligibility criteria. See our FAQ for more information.
Partially Shipped:
One or more items in your request have not been distributed, either because your organization's eligibility to participate in this donation program has not yet been verified or because this product is on back order. See our FAQ for more information.
Disqualified:
Your organization's nonprofit, charitable, or library status was not confirmed; or your organization does not meet the specific criteria necessary to receive one or more of items in your request. If you believe that there has been an error, please contact Client Services.
Expired:
One or more criteria have not been fulfilled for this donation request. In addition, a considerable amount of time has elapsed since your request was placed, and our Client Services team has made one or more attempts at contacting your organization. Therefore, the items will no longer be distributed to your organization.
Cancelled:
This request has been cancelled by your organization or by TechSoup.

Qualification Status

Indicates the current phase in our process of verifying your organization's status as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit or public library.

Qualified:
Your organization's eligibility to receive donations from TechSoup has been verified.
Pending Qualification:
Your organization's tax exempt status has not yet been verified. You may submit the proper documentation via fax or mail at any time. Please use our qualification checklist for assistance. Certain product donation programs have additional eligibility criteria. Please check our FAQ, or contact Client Services if you have sent us your documentation previously or have questions about your status.
Requalification Pending:
There's recently been a change to your organization's profile. In order to requalify you, TechSoup Client Services may be waiting for information or documents if you have not already submitted them. If you have sent us your documentation previously, please do not resend it.
Disqualified:
You may have registered a duplicate account, been deemed ineligible to participate based on our policy guidelines, or your organization may not be a 501(c)(3) or library organization. You may still take advantage of the information, webinars, and discussion forums on TechSoup. If you believe that there has been an error, please contact Client Services.
Cancelled:
You may have registered a duplicate account or an account with the incorrect organizational type or sub-type. It is our understanding that this account is no longer in use. If you believe that there has been an error, please contact Client Services.
Abandoned:
Documentation of your organization's tax ID status was not received by TechSoup. In addition, a considerable amount of time has elapsed since your request was placed, and our Client Services team has made one or more attempts at contacting your organization. It is our understanding that this account is no longer in use. If you believe that there has been an error, please contact Client Services.
Pending Requalification for Organization Type:
Your organization has changed its shipping address, budget, type, or sub-type. In order to requalify you, TechSoup Client Services may be waiting for information or documents if you have not already submitted them. If you have sent us your documentation previously, please do not resend it.

Shipping Status

Indicates the status of your request's physical or virtual distribution.

Open:
Your organization's qualification status or eligibility to receive donations has not been verified, or your payment has not yet been processed.
Fully Shipped:
Fulfillment of all products in your donation request is either complete or is currently underway. See our FAQ for more information.
Partially Shipped:
One or more items in your request have not been distributed, either because your organization's eligibility to participate in this donation program has not yet been verified or because this product is on back order. See our FAQ for more information.
Cancelled:
This request has been cancelled by your organization or by TechSoup.
Expired:
One or more criteria have not been fulfilled for this donation request, and the items will no longer be distributed to your organization. In addition, a considerable amount of time has elapsed since your request was placed, and our Client Services team has made one or more attempts at contacting your organization.

Payment Status

Describes the status of your payment.

Paid:
Payment has been processed in full.
Authorized:
Your credit card has been authorized for payment, but the entire amount has not yet been charged to your account. The products for which your credit card has already been charged are listed as In Fulfillment or Shipped in the Status of Request section of the Donation Request History page.
Not Paid:
Complete payment has not yet been received for this request. View the Status of Request section of the Donation Request History page to view the products for which payment has already been applied. If you have yet to fax your credit card information or mail your check, please do so as soon as possible.
CC Error:
TechSoup was not able to process your credit card information. Your card was either declined, or there was a communication error. Please contact Client Services as soon as possible to resubmit your payment for processing.

Product Status

A product-specific breakdown of your donation request. It indicates the status of each product or service in your donation request separately.

In Fulfillment:
Your organization's tax exempt status and eligibility to receive this donation has been verified, payment has been received and processed, and the donation is being processed for distribution.
Pending Program Eligibility Approval:
TechSoup has not yet verified your organization's eligibility to receive this donation.
Shipped:
Payment has been received and processed, and distribution of this product is either complete or is currently underway. If you requested a physical product, you may track the location of packages that shipped from TechSoup by clicking on the UPS tracking number provided.
In Process:
Payment for this donation has not been processed, and we may still be in the process of determining your organization's eligibility to receive this donation. Once eligibility has been verified and payment has been processed, the status will change to "In Fulfillment."
Back-ordered:
Product is currently out of stock. Your request will be fulfilled once our shipment has arrived.
Cancelled:
Either your organization or TechSoup has removed this item from your request.
Ineligible:
TechSoup has determined that your organization is not qualified to participate in this donation program and is therefore not eligible to receive this product. If you believe that there has been an error, please contact Client Services.
Expired:
One or more criteria have not been fulfilled for this donation, and the item will not be distributed to your organization.
