View this webinar and learn about the law, what is expected, and what tools are available to help. Hear from Cindy Compeau at the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation who shares what the law states and how they support their grantees who regrant funds. We also hear from Emily Chessin from World Resources Institute and Francia Fajardo from TechSoup Global who will demonstrate their list checking process.

Speaker Information 

Emily Chessin is the Project Coordinator for the International Financial Flows & the Environment project (IFFE) and the external relations liaison for the Institutions and Governance Program.

Emily joined WRI in March 2007 as the biofuels research intern in the WRI People and Ecosystems Program. The majority of her research focused on the impact of increased biofuel production and expansion on land use change in Brazil.

Emily is originally from Fairfield, Connecticut and graduated from Gettysburg College in May 2006 with a degree in Environmental Studies. Before coming to WRI, she worked at Earthplace, a non-profit in Westport, Connecticut. At Earthplace, she helped lead their water quality monitoring effort of local estuaries and watersheds in lower Fairfield County, CT.

Cindy Compeau has been with the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation in Flint, Michigan, USA for 12 years. She works in the Grants Administration Department where she is responsible for the equivalency determinations and compliance reviews for all international grant requests that the Mott Foundation processes. In addition, she assists with payment processing and list checking requirements.

Francia Fajardo is a Program Administrator at TechSoup Global. She is responsible for processing Cisco donation requests which include determining the eligibility of applicants.
