Join Dean Haddock from famed StoryCorps, who directed a recent website overhaul for their compelling recordings, videos, and animations that bring people to tears on NPR each Friday morning. Their award-winning storytelling skills were employed in the design and development of their new website.

Dean will offer big-picture process considerations from his experience conducting a number of major site overhauls, as well as quick tips on how you can make small changes to improve your nonprofit or library website today.

Speaker Information 

Dean Haddock is the head of technology for StoryCorps,, a nonprofit based in New York City serving people across the U.S. to record, share, and preserve the stories of our lives. Dean's team designed and implemented the StoryCorps archive platform currently in use by the Library of Congress and numerous libraries across the country, an iPhone app, touchscreen museum listening stations, the National Day of Listening in-browser interview recording app, and most recently, the new StoryCorps.org website. Out of the office, Dean spends his time surfing, composing music, cooking, and helping nonprofits and artists with their digital strategies.
