CiviCRM is a free, libre, and open-source software constituent relationship management (CRM) solution. It is designed specifically to meet the needs of advocacy, nonprofit, and non-governmental groups. In this webinar, hear from Dave Greenberg from CiviCRM who will explain what tools are available within CiviCRM and some best practices around setup and maintenance. We’ll also learn how Jeff Porter is using CiviCRM at the Prader Willi Foundation.

Speaker Information 

Dave Greenberg has worked in the nonprofit sector as Psychiatric Counselor in a Community Mental Health clinic, and has a Masters degree in Social Work. He also has experience engineering/developing large software systems for the electronic commerce and banking industries. Combining his skills and values, he is now part of the international core development team for CiviCRM, the built-for-nonprofit open-source CRM software platform.

Jeff Porter has been involved in nonprofit technology and development since 2002, when his daughter Abby was diagnosed with Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS). Since that time, Jeff has established the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association of Colorado and helped expand the Foundation for Prader-Willi Research (FPWR). Leveraging his technology background, Jeff has helped the PWS community increase awareness, improve donor relations, and raise more funds using technology solutions. Professionally, Jeff a strategy executive at Local Matters Inc., a local search and discovery solutions provider, and a serial entrepreneur working on new and innovative solutions for connecting buyers and sellers across a variety of industries and markets.
