Webinar Description 

Struggling to provide jargon-free, basic computer training for an adult audience? The My PC Series, a free online curriculum, aims to make this challenge a bit easier.

This webinar features My PC program manager Todd Watts, and includes background on using Windows 7 and Windows Live Essentials to teach basic computer and photo-editing skills. We also highlight lessons and resources offered with the My PC Series. The webinar strives to help you understand how the My PC curriculum could be applied at your library or organization.

This webinar is suited for public libraries and nonprofits in the United States interested in providing Windows 7 classes to the public or staff.

Speaker Information 

Todd B. Watts currently works as a program manager on the My PC Series program where he evangelizes the My PC Series to academic, commercial, government agencies, and most recently libraries.

Prior to this engagement, Todd spent the previous 13 years at Microsoft as a program manager in the Engineering Excellence and Microsoft Learning groups where he worked on engineering lifecycle projects, courseware development, Next Generation Microsoft Official Curriculum, the Microsoft Courseware Library, and helping to launch the Digital Literacy program.

Todd spent his early years at Microsoft as a web developer in MSN, where he steadfastly holds to the fact that at one time he was the sole developer responsible for the msn.com website.
