How to Use TechSoup
Get the most out of our services and features
TechSoup provides a range of technology services for nonprofits, including news and articles, discussion forums, and discounted and donated technology products. To take full advantage of TechSoup's services, we recommend you do the following:
- Join TechSoup and Create a member profile. Once you have a member profile, you will able to post and reply to our discussion forums and you have taken the first step to becoming an authorized buyer of donated products for your organization.
- Get a product donation. After you have created a member profile, register your organization to get donated products with TechSoup Stock. If your organization is already registered, you can apply to become an authorized buyer.
- Subscribe to our free e-newsletters . By the Cup brings you highlights from TechSoup each week, while the monthly New Product Alert delivers announcements from TechSoup Stock. Signing up is easy – all you need is an email address.
- Learn how your nonprofit can get the most out of technology. Whether you're trying to choose between TechSoup Stock products or need support for a technology you already have, TechSoup can help guide you through every stage of the decision-making process. Qualified organizations are eligible to apply for donated technology products at the lowest possible cost. Find over 350 products from 23 technology partners, from antivirus software to refurbished hardware. Locate tech services.
Use TechFinder, our online directory, to find individuals and organizations that provide technology services, consulting, and training to nonprofits.
Find recycled hardware resources.
Use TechFinder to find recycled hardware, donate hardware, and learn more about hardware refurbishing and recycling, including CompuMentor's Computer Recycling and Reuse Program.
Get free downloads.
Browse our list of free downloads you can get right off the Internet.

Participate in our lively forums.
